Sarah Gilchrist (SP)

Registered Psychologist (Gladesville)

Sarah is a Registered Psychologist with a particular passion for working with children, adolescents, and their families at moments that matter most. She brings warmth, genuine curiosity, and a non-judgmental approach to every session, creating space where young people feel safe to be honest, and where families feel genuinely heard.

Her clinical work is grounded in attachment and relational perspectives, drawing on evidence-based frameworks including CBT, DBT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy. She takes a strengths-based approach across a range of presentations, including anxiety, depression, OCD, emotional regulation difficulties, and trauma. Sarah has completed Level 2 EMDR training in child and adolescent trauma, as well as the Cool Kids anxiety program, through which she is a registered Cool Kids provider.

In addition to therapy, Sarah offers neurodevelopmental assessments for children and adults who want to understand whether ADHD or other learning differences may be contributing to their experience. She approaches assessment as a collaborative process, one where clients leave with not just a report, but a clearer understanding of themselves.

Sarah is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and is currently completing the Clinical Psychology Registrar Endorsement Program, working toward endorsement as a Clinical Psychologist. She is also a member of the Australian Psychological Society.

As a parent and step-parent herself, Sarah understands how much courage it takes to reach out, and how important it is to find the right fit. She feels genuinely privileged to support young people and families through the moments that shape their lives.

Sarah sees clients Monday and Tuesday at Gladesville
