Carolin Hayes

Carolin is a registered psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia and holds a membership with the Australian Psychological Society. She completed her Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours) at the Australian College of Applied Psychology and her Master of Professional Psychology at the University of New England.

Carolin is passionate about working both with individuals and their families to improve psychological, social, and physical wellbeing. She also enjoys working with young families and is aware that family, work, and life commitments can be challenging.  As a warm, empathic, and non-judgemental provisional psychologist, Carolin enjoys connecting with individuals of all ages and drawing on their strengths to overcome difficulties and reach their full potential.

Carolin has gained experience working with children, adolescents and adults from various backgrounds. She has worked with people presenting with a variety of presentations including anxiety, mood disorders, and people with neurodivergent brain styles. Carolin is particularly interested in early life experiences and draws on attachment theory when working with clients of all ages. She is also a certified facilitator of the Circle of Security Program.

Furthermore, Carolin has always had a strong interest in assessments and focusing on individuals’ strengths rather than their weaknesses. She is trained in academic and cognitive assessments and is currently undertaking training in Autism and ADHD assessments.

Carolin is taking a holistic approach and considers each individual in their own environment with their own strengths and goals to achieve their full potential. She is passionate about developing a collaborative therapeutic relationship in order to work on her client’s goals using evidence-based interventions that are tailored to her client’s needs.
