Lego Group – Social Skills Program

Lego Group – Social Skills Program

Due to the success of our school holiday Lego Club, Spencer Health are excited to be launching ongoing Lego Groups at our Mosman site!

LEGO Based Therapy is a well-researched and effective therapy designed to support the development of social skills such as sharing, turn-taking, and establishing lasting relationships with peers. At our weekly group sessions, LEGO and related products are utilised to engage your child and teach skills necessary to navigate their social world. Each group is limited to a maximum number of 3 participants and will be facilitated by therapists with experience working with children and supporting them to build their social confidence.  Groups are aimed at Primary School aged children.

Groups are 50 minutes in duration and run for 9 weeks each term, with a 30 minute parent session being offered in week 10 to discuss your child’s progress and set goals for the following term. Fees for the 10 sessions (9 group and 1 parent) are $950 a term.  The groups can be funded through the NDIS if you are Plan or Self-Managed NDIS participants.

We currently have 2 groups available, both on Wednesdays at 4:00pm and 5:00pm

If you would like to express interest in your child joining our groups please complete the following form and our groups co-ordinator will be in touch with you.
