Phoebe is a registered psychologist and clinical psychology registrar who has completed a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) from the University of New South Wales and a Master of Clinical Psychology from Macquarie University. Phoebe completed her masters thesis on anxiety in children and adolescents and its association with screen time during the COVID-19 pandemic in Australia. She is trained in evidence-based interventions including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness, and has experience with Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT).
Phoebe is passionate about working with children and their families, and has a particular interest in the assessment and treatment of anxiety and related disorders in children and young adults. Another keen area of interest for Phoebe is conducting psychometric assessments with children, including the testing of cognitive ability and assessing for specific learning disorders and ADHD. Phoebe has also been trained in the administration of the Autism Diagnostic Interview-Revised (ADI-R).
Phoebe has worked with a range of mental health and developmental disorders including depression, anxiety, OCD, autism spectrum disorder, oppositional defiant disorder and ADHD. She has experience delivering individual and group evidence-based treatment interventions both in person and via Telehealth. Phoebe worked with children and their families completing the Cool Kids and Chilled (adolescent) CBT programs at the Centre for Emotional Health Clinic (CEHC). She also has experience providing learning and mental health support for adolescents, and worked as a special educational needs high school teaching assistant in London, United Kingdom.
Phoebe enjoys working children, adolescents and young adults to support their mental wellbeing and working collaboratively with their families. She is a passionate provider of academic and cognitive assessment, as well as providing assessment services for neurodiverse presentations such as ASD and ADHD. Phoebe is training in the ADI-R, a gold standard tool used for the assessment of ASD.
