Registered Psychologist (Hornsby)

Kasey is a registered psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia. She holds a Bachelor of Science Psychology degree (Hons) from the University of Reading, United Kingdom. She completed the 4+2 internship to obtain her psychologist registration.

Before working as a psychologist, Kasey worked in a variety of specialist education roles. Over the past 12 years, Kasey has worked all over the world with young people of all ages and backgrounds. Her most rewarding roles include: teaching English as a foreign language in Sri Lankan schools and orphanages, teaching communication skills to non-verbal children, and educating children on the importance of conservation while volunteering for the Sea Turtle Protection Society of Greece. Most recently, Kasey has worked for a not-for-profit organisation providing counselling and diagnostic assessment services.

Kasey specialises in supporting young people with Specific Learning Disorders, neurodiverse and gifted individuals via assessment and therapy services. She is a passionate believer in an holistic and collaborative approach to therapy and draws on a range of evidence-based treatments, such as CBT and ACT, as well as creative outlets that reflect client interests. As part of this process, Kasey works with parents and schools to support them in building a range of tools that can be used outside of therapy sessions.
