Ieva is a warm and compassionate registered psychologist and Clinical Psychology Registrar. She earned her undergraduate degree at Middlesex University in London and completed her Master of Psychology (Clinical) at Australian Catholic University in Sydney.
Ieva has experience working with adolescents and adults in various settings, including non-profit organizations, public health, forensic health, and private practice. She provides assessment and treatment for a range of mental health issues, such as anxiety disorders, major depression, adjustment disorders, work-related stress, self-esteem concerns, and ADHD. In addition to private practice, she is currently employed at St. Vincent’s Hospital Sydney.
Adopting a client-centered approach, Ieva uses evidence-based methods such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT). She also draws on other evidence-based modalities to best support individuals, helping clients not only cope with challenges but also achieve personal growth based on their goals.
Driven by her values of empathy, kindness, and curiosity, Ieva aims to create a safe, judgment-free, and supportive environment where clients can explore their experiences and collaboratively navigate life's challenges.
