Amanda Robinson (IC)

Registered Psychologist (Gladesville)

I am a registered psychologist with experience in providing therapeutic support to individuals navigating a variety of mental health challenges. My professional journey has taken me through diverse settings, including the out-of-home care sector, private practice, and direct work with individuals on the autism spectrum. This breadth of experience has enriched my approach, deepening my understanding of complex mental health needs.

My areas of interest and expertise include supporting clients experiencing depression, anxiety, adjustment to life events, childhood trauma,  post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), personality disorders, neurodivergence, adjustment to chronic illness, and stress management. I am particularly drawn to trauma-informed care and have trained in Level 1 Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), which I find effective for trauma-related conditions.

In my practice, I utilise a range of evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to each client’s unique needs. These include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Schema Therapy.

I see clients aged 12 and over I look forward to supporting you on your journey toward mental well-being
