Help your child build social skills and confidence through our LEGO based club for children with Autism, ADHD and related Conditions

Does your child struggle making and keeping friends?

Have they been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD or have a developmental issue impacting their social skill development?

Would you like your child to learn the skills so that they can form healthy and effective relationships with peers and family?

Do they LOVE constructing and working with LEGO?

We are excited to be launching our LEGO clubs across Sydney’s Northern Suburbs. LEGO-Based Therapy is a well researched and effective therapy designed to support the development of social skills such as sharing, turn-taking, making eye contact and following social rules.

Our groups are from 6 years – 18 years and are matched by age and gender. Research shows that teaching social skills is best done in a group of peers which is why it is so important that age and gender are taken into consideration.

Our LEGO Clubs rely solely on the use of LEGO and related products to engage participants and teach the skills necessary for social success and confidence. Each group is limited to a maximum number of 3 participants and run for 45 minutes over 9 weeks, with a parent feedback session being conducted in week 10. Groups are facilitated by Registered Psychologists with training in LEGO-Based therapy.

We are currently taking Expressions Of Interest to join our groups at Hornsby, Gladesville and Mosman. If you are interested in your child joining the program, please let us know by purchasing a FREE ticket and entering your child’s details, including their gender and age. Our Group Co-ordinator, Jacqui Cheyne, will then be in touch to discuss the program with you and the next steps.

If you would like further information please email groups@spencerhealth.com.au

The groups can be funded through the NDIS if you are Plan or Self-Managed NDIS participants.
